Happy Saturday, babes!
I thought I’d be waking up in Toronto this morning, after having my sleeve finished last night. Unfortunately a few of the inks my artist needed were backordered (my sleeve takes all the colours) and my trip had to be delayed. I’m okay having the time at home though. I’ll probably poke around my room to continue purging and cleaning up before my move. I’m a little bit overwhelmed that I have just over two weeks left to get everything in order, but I know it will all come together . In the mean time, I have a great roundup of links for you today. Grab a cuppa and dive into this week’s awesome internet finds…
Cindy’s pop culture watercolours are so good. (via Neon Rattail)
Brain Pickings posted an amazing series of posters illustrated by Maurice Sendak.
The world’s largest cave is in Vietnam and was only discovered four years ago. For the first time, tourists are going to be able to visit it. These photos are breathtaking, but would you be up for the journey?
Katie’s embellished watercolours always make me so happy (you should follow her on Instagram).
I love, love, love black and white photographs – especially of the grainy, vintage variety. But it is pretty neat to see these 20 historical b&w photographs colourized.
The story behind ‘The Catabomb Saints’ is as incredible as their bejewelled remains.
Beets are my favourite. I can’t wait to try this three beet salad.
I’m obsessed with this pink swing jacket. Unfortunately it’s too teeny for me.
A great web comic.
Macabre interpretations of classic Disney movies.
“Classical sculptures dressed as hipsters look contemporary and totally badass.”
And a few links…

So tell me, what’s the best thing you’ve found online this week?
