Tattoo Tuesday >> Peter Aurisch.

Today, I thought I’d introduce you to one of my favourite tattoo artists: Peter Aurisch from Berlin. Andrea sent me a link to his portfolio and I haven’t stopped gawking at these images ever since. The sketchy line drawings at the base of each piece are quirky and beautiful. He’s able to take even the most common subject matter and create something totally unique. What really mesermizes me is Aurisch’s playful use of colour; it almost looks as if he’s painted on their skin. The final products are unlike anything I’ve ever seen before…

I plan to spend some time in Berlin this fall (!!!) and it would be a dream come true to have a custom piece by this master of needle and ink. I even have something in mind that I think would be perfect. Fingerscrossed I can make it happen! But, even if it doesn’t, I’m so happy to have discovered his work. I love stumbling onto different styles of tattoos and hey, if not this time, it’d be a great excuse for another trip… ;)

Which piece is your favourite? Would you consider an unconditional tattoo like these?

xoxo
