Many of my favourite bloggers have posted their holiday wish lists and I decided to join in on the fun. Consider it a gift guide for all of the nerdy-amateur-photographer-foodie-fashionista-word-lovers out there. Perhaps it will give you some inspiration if, like me, you have last minute shopping to do this weekend.

I love chunky pendants, especially vintage lockets. This reclaimed turn of the century piece by Emily Rothschild has a USB flash drive inside: beautiful, practical, and a bit nerdy. Love, love, love love!

I love Selsi Salts and the foodie in me is desperate to get her hands on their deluxe sampler set. Roasted garlic? Black truffle? Alaea red clay? Be still my heart!

I think the Grey Oiseaux dress by Pink Martini is so charming. I can imagine swanning around a cocktail party with a glass of champagne while wearing it or pairing it with leggings at work. It’s even more beautiful in person. I love the cruelty-free feather detail and the sparkly band at the bottom really pops.

A quirky vintage typewriter for when I need to pound my thoughts out furiously in a way only analogue technology can accomplish.

I’ve been itching to do more creative things and I desperately need to replenish my craft box. I’m especially interested in watercolours right now but glitter, pastels, collage ephemera: all are welcome.

I’m almost set for the cold weather. I’ve got a parka, genuine mukluks and a cosy hat. All I’m missing is something warm for my neck and this chunky grey scarf looks perfect for bundling up in.

Fun t-shirts from Out of Print Clothing and Threadless. I’d love wearing them with jeans and a blazer.

Looking at these vegan fleur de sel caramels makes my mouth water! Plus, I’ve been whipping up so many vegan confections for my family and everyone knows that food tastes better when someone else makes it.

I’m keen to improve my layout and web design skills, so I’d love to add Thinking With Type by Ellen Lupton and Learning Web Design by Jennifer Niederst Robbins to my book collection.

These sparkly plugs are so eye catching! I wish they had a pair in my size; I’d wear them everyday.

A subscription to my favourite fashion magazine would guarantee two years of smiles.

I love the sound of this woodsy tea. “…it’s like drinking a fresh forest breeze.” How heavenly!

A good pair of long johns for staying toasty warm while skating and going on long walks.

I’ve long been in search of the perfect wine-stained, eaten too many cherries, just red enough lip stain. I’ve even tried making my own beet-tinted lip balm (beets have a strange romantic connotation for me … if you’ve read Jitterbug Perfume you’ll understand) but it always goes moldy within a couple of days. This woman seems to have perfected both of these things and I can’t wait to try it!

I’ve been lusting after the Cambridge Satchel for months and now they’ve released it in gold. It’s my favourite!

A daily planner for setting goals and staying on track in the year ahead.

And the one REALLY big ticket item on my list that I want more than anything: a digital SLR. I have big plans for this blog for the new year and a good camera would make it so much easier to bring them to life (but I know I’m totally spoiled if I do get one).
